His practice is limited to cosmetic surgery of the body, breast, and face.
Our office has been an innovator in providing the newest techniques and procedures in aesthetic plastic surgery in Louisville. We endeavor to educate our patients about all of the exciting possibilities in cosmetic enhancement, whether they are surgical or noninvasive medispa treatments done in the SkinSpa by Salzman.
The plastic surgery procedures our office provides include liposuction, tummy tuck, and Exilis shaping for the body; augmentation, lifts, and reduction for the breasts; and facelift, nose reshaping, and lip enlargement for the face.
Our entire team's goal is to provide our patients with a compassionate, complete, consummate, and caring delivery of the entire array of plastic surgery treatments and surgeries to allow for a smooth transition to the new you.
From your preoperative visit until after the procedure, we'll guide you every step of the way. After your consultation with Dr. Salzman, a patient care coordinator will work with you to go over the fees and find the best time to perform the procedure based on your schedule.
Around three weeks before your chosen surgery date, you'll meet with a plastic surgery nurse who'll give you an extensive personalized preoperative booklet that contains instructions before and after surgery. Our nurse will also review the medications that should be avoided before the procedure. All necessary blood work, vision assessments, or pre-op physician clearances will be scheduled. The location and schedule of your procedure will also be provided.
We require you to have someone to stay with you on the first night after the procedure. If you can't find someone to do this, our office can arrange for a private duty nurse to accompany you at home.
If you have questions before and after the procedure, your booklet contains all the telephone numbers to reach both Dr. Salzman and his nurse. Don't hesitate to call and ask questions. With their knowledge, they can help you understand whatever you need to know before or after the procedure.
